  • Complex medical care
  • Cardiac recovery
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) care
  • Diabetes management
  • Hospice-related services
  • IV therapy
  • Pain management
  • Rehabilitation services (physical, occupational, and speech therapies)

  • Wound care

We also offer long-term care for people who are no longer able to live at home. And we accept people for respite visits—temporary stays at our center when their at-home caregiver can’t be available.

Specialized Care
We offer several care programs not always available in skilled nursing facilities:

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care—In our secure unit, we focus on preserving comforting routines and a sense of dignity for our residents with memory and cognitive impairments. We offer family-style dining for those who can participate. Our multisensory recreation therapy, using aroma, music, massage, and other sensory therapies, is tailored to the needs of people with memory impairment. And in addition to traditional recreation, our activities programming also includes familiar tasks of everyday living, like folding laundry or setting the table, which give our residents a sense of purpose and self-worth.

Hospice Care—The goal of our hospice services is to provide meaningful care to people at the end of life and their loved ones. Hospice care is appropriate for people who don’t need hospitalization but who need more care than they can get at home. Our specially trained staff provides a full array of nursing services, along with pain management, social services, round-the-clock pastoral care, and family support. Family and significant others are welcome to visit 24 hours a day.

We provide end-of-life care in affiliation with Beacon Hospice and Visiting Nurse Service of Greater Rhode Island.
